Leather wrist accessories are so popular these days. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if you can make a leather wrist band or a braided leather bracelet for yourself? Leather is a pretty inexpensive material. You don’t have to worry that you will be spending too much. You can use recycled beads taken from old bracelets to decorate you DIY leather bracelet.First step is to assemble your materials- beads, leather, wire and glue. Of course you will also need cutters or scissors. Cut three pieces of leather about 14†long. Make a knot about an inch from the end of one leather strip. Join the three strips with glue and reinforce with the wire. Braid the leather strips tightly and try on your wrist for the right size.
Glue the ends and secure with another wire and there you have it, the basic leather bracelet is finished, you can now attach the clasp using nylon thread.
And now for the decoration! Let your imagination and your artistic flair take over. Sew the recycled beads to the braided leather and create unique but attractive designs.
